“I picked my boy up Monday, and I’m very thankful that they finally ordered a medication to help him. I had requested this medication several times at other facilities, and now that we finally have the prescription, we still can’t get it filled because it requires a prior authorization. I’ve called the nurses’ station several times and discussed the PA with them, but we still haven’t been able to pick up the medication — and it’s now been five days. Until this gets approved, it feels like we are all still struggling to get him the consistent care he needs while he continues to go without the medication. On a positive note, I can see real progress in the work that has been done with him. He is adopted, and I’ve noticed they’ve helped him develop coping skills around that in a way that really stands out. When he came home, he was talking openly about his adoption, why it happened, and how it’s okay — and that he can get through it. I’m very impressed and genuinely thankful that he’s been supported in that area, because it shows he’s been given tools to understand and process something important in his life. However, I’m also very sad that we are still being delayed by the prior authorization for his medication. He is starting to show more signs again — waking up very early, increased hyperactivity, and other behaviors consistent with his ADHD. He has been diagnosed since he was very young, and it’s difficult watching him struggle without the medication he needs while we wait for this to be approved.”

“I am saying 3 stars for now, but I will update again later. Yesterday they had 5 stars from me after I hung up with admissions for my family member. She was very nice and patient with all of my questions. When we arrive, the lady doing intake was VERY rude and hateful and I found out I was lied to about who my child would be bunked with and they DO NOT offer private rooms. I was livid at this point and almost took my child out of there. Today was visitation and I got lost because google maps took me to Mayflower and they wouldn't let me see or talk to my child and I haven't heard from anyone all day. That's strike 2! The day shift seems very nice and that's the only reason for 3 stars. Next strike and I'm pulling my child out. I dare someone to stop me.”

“Right now I am giving them five stars, but will update my review later on when I see how they handle the situation with my family member and what they do to treat him and give him the help he needs. This is his third behavioral facility commitment in 6 weeks, and the other two sent him on his way and said he was okay. He is far from okay and everyone keeps saying it’s somebody else’s responsibility to fix the major and extreme issues he is having. We will wait and see.”

“I was so scared and nervous about self admitting into this place but as soon as i got there and started the intake process the staff made me feel so comfortable every single member of this hospital is very kind and supportive and honestly are perfect people for this type of help I wouldn't have gotten through the time spent if not for them a big big thank you to all of you”
